DZRJ-FM, branded as RJ 100 is a music FM radio station in the Philippines owned by Rajah Broadcasting Network, Inc. The station's studio is located in Jupiter St., Makati City, while the transmitter is located in Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City.
History
Around 1986, during the Philippines' historic People Power Revolution that ousted the iron rule of President Ferdinand Marcos, Veritas 846 was bombed & June Keithley, owner of Veritas 846 said Radyo Bandido. DZRJ-AM had henceforth been recast in a public service format for its new identity as Radyo Bandido DzRJ-AM. It had been set up to flourish in the FM band as RJ 100.
Around 2001, it renamed itself to The Hive 100.3 playing alternatives & classic rock music. Its format was similar to the current RJ Underground Radio 105.9. However it lasted for 3 years because of its ratings. In 2002, it changed back to RJ 100. It began bringing news from VOA & BBC similar to DZRJ-AM.
